So you’re able to connect via the .local address. But you’re going to want to use the .onion address, so that you can access your files when you’re off-LAN, correct? When you enter the .onion address, that’s when you see the message about the Internet connection being offline?

Ok. It just gave me a certificate is expired message. I told it to accept and now I’m seeing my files on the iPhone. Wild.
Assuming there’s a similar issue with the iPad.
If you had to make an exception in Safari to access NC, then your phone does not trust your root CA.
I’ll look into that. Thanks for the tip.
The NC app is particularly prone to not working at all without the Root CA trusted, so this could be it.
