I just setup my Start9 node (RasPi) and installed BTC node, LND and Ride The Lightning and trying to open my first channel w/Start9 to setup my first lightning node, it’s added as a Peer fine, but the channel has been “pending” for almost 2 days. I just used default fee settings and what not, do I need to wait longer? Or did I do something wrong (I used the S9 guide) - any help is appreciated! I’ll wait in the meantime…
We actively warn again using a Raspberry Pi 4 for running Bitcoin, since these devices don’t have the resources to do so adequately. It’s not 2019 anymore.
As for the pending transaction… you’d need to look on chain to see if it is confirmed. If it is confirmed, then above is a concern. If it’s not, then you have all your answers. Though I can’t see how it wouldn’t be confirmed.
