Physical Protection

Hi, I wanted to know if startos has some sort of full disk encryption or something similar that protects your data say if a malicious individual were to get physical possession of the device. I understand given time anything is possible but I wanted to know regardless.

In addition, If there is no such protection what could the malicious individual see. Also I understand that DOJO is a community app but what could an attacker see regarding your dojo, any xpubs etc?

Thank You

I also forgot to ask, how would this extend to LND, is it particularly easy to extract the seed given physical access, what are the measures taken/not taken here?

StartOS does not currently have any protection against an attacker with physical access. Physical access should be considered root access. However, some applications such as Vaultwarden implement their own data protection schemes, which may prevent access by an attacker with physical access, under certain circumstances. But if you haven’t changed the default passwords for such services, this won’t provide any protection.
