Problem with Root CA in android

Hi there! I’m new with Start9 and need some help

I am not able to access my startos installation from my android device. I have followed the steps and installed the CA certificate, but I am unable to access adjective-noun.local from my browsers (mull and vanadium) in Grapheneos. I can’t access with the server IP neither. I have been able to access without problem in an ipad, mac laptop and linux pc. Any idea about what I can do?

You can take a look at the common issues guide to start, but I think other users have had trouble at times with various Graphene setups. You might try

  • Disable Safe Browsing in the browser settings.
  • Use Firefox Beta instead of Mull/Vanadium.
  • Toggle Wi-Fi off/on or switch to the 5GHz network.
  • Clear browser cache and restart the phone.

At the end of the day, if you can’t access your other network devices via the IP address then no amount of trusting CAs is going to help you.

Your situation will be one of these…

  1. You are on another network, either a VPN or a wifi connection that isn’t the same as the server

  2. Something is blocking networking

It’s kind of weird… I have been able to connect to my server with Fennec, but not with Mull, Ironfox nor Vanadium. I use RethinkDNS and a Pi-Hole and I’ve tested everything I’ve imagined because after reading you both I thought it could be related, but without success.

I don’t get the “server not found” error anymore, now I see a blank page with the start9 favicon when conecting to the local IP or the server url…

This blank page is the result of your browser blocking JavaScript from loading or running. Either specifically a setting in relation to that, or more broad security setting.
