Proxmox with debian and StartOS on Server one

Hi guys,

could you please quickly confirm that it´s possible to install distros other than StartOS on the server one ?

I plan to install proxmox, with debian 12 as a VPN gateway and startos internally connecting to debian and its tunnel.

When you buy a server from Starr9, we respect that it’s your server, and you should be able to do with it as you wish. Start9 does not lock down these devices in any way. They have only the restriction, and limitation inherent to the hardware. StartOS is an open source project based on Debian. So I would expect that most any Debian based OS would work flawlessly. However, Start9 cannot guarantee such, and cannot support the plethora of custom options you may choose. Should you choose a custom option such as Proxmox, please refer to their respective documentation, and support community. We also have a thriving DIY community of StartOS users.
