Purchase Recommendation

I was listening to a podcast with Matt Hill.
He recommended two servers.
One for security and one for everything else.
Would you recommend a Server One and a Server Pure?
Would the Server Pure be best for a bitcoin node and passwords (Security) etc…
And a Server One for everything else?

Or two Server Pure?

Or two Server One?

Also, Matt spoke about a router.
Any updates?

Thank you

People have different preferences of division of labor between servers and there’s no one-size-fits-all. For example, it would also be complete reasonable to run three servers, with the third being a media server. But Matt’s split is a common and popular one.

What makes you think a Pure would be better for Bitcoin? The difference between the Pure and the One is in the open source firmware of the Pure, with Intel’s weird closed source IME stuff removed. Who knows what that might be doing, or what it could be used for if you were a journalist or a whistleblower and you kept your source’s contact details on your server. But if you’re not a potential target, maybe it wouldn’t matter? The One has lots of bits and pieces of closed source firmware. Is it doing anything? probably not.
