I’m not sure that we’re understanding each other and I want to make sure that we are. When you say “no crt found” - are you saying you’re still getting the “No such file or directory” error? If so, then you are still not running the commands from the directory that contains the .crt
file.
Yes this is the error, my apologies, I dont understand how to run the commands from the directory that contain the .crt file I’m still learning how to work with Lenox command line
The .crt file is in the download file .but where I go from there i don’t know PureOS Debian is new to me
I was successful with both the Macs when i installed the Latest Brave browser, That went smoothly when I followed the Start 9 instructions
i installed Brave successfully on PureOS but wasn’t able to get the Embassy running
Just thought I could give it a try
Thanks again for your help
To be clear - the server is running fine, the problem here is getting the certificate trusted on Linux. If your terminal says that your .crt file is not found, then either you are not in the directory it is in, or you are spelling the filename incorrectly.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with the server, how would I know ? This doesn’t explain the sudden change. I was successful in getting everything running on Linux once before then something changed without my input. Its also odd to me that Mac and Linux both stop working when using Firefox. I was successful with safari on the Mac, then after updating Brave I was able to connect successfully. Not sure what to do now, If someone has been successful getting Start 9 to run on PureOS Id like to hear about it
For now just trying to learn more about Linux Debian so that hopefully I’ll be able to find a solution, and post it here
Time to spend on this is limited, luckily My Macs are happy so I’m using those
Would you mind coming into our livechat (start9.com) or Telegram/Matrix channels so that we can help you with a faster back and forth? I’m certain that your issue is fixable, but the latency here is not conducive to finding a solution in a timely manner.
no problem,thanks for the help
