I’m needing to buy a new router. I’m curious if there are some things I should be on the lookout to make sure that my router plays best with the upcoming 0.3.6 update. I’m looking at the flint 2 as I’ve had it recommended as a router that is easy to use with multiple networks (ie a network running over VPN, network running over clearnet, etc) and my understanding is that, eventually, individual services will be able to be pointed towards different networks setups depending on the needs for that service (at least that is how I remember from some podcast I heard Matt Hill on months ago). Hopefully that makes sense and appreciate any insight before i drop some cash on this new router.

Can’t really recommend a router, or guarantee that a particular router would be the best for 0.3.6… but I can say that my cheap GL.iNet GL-AX1800 works fine with 0.3.6 and I’m pretty happy with it.
All you really need is the ability to port forward and run a VPN server. Whichever Flint running whichever OpenWrt skin should be able to do that just fine.
