Does anyone run a Signal Messenger proxy? This allows a person to get around the phone number system linked to Signal.

I don’t know anyone running a Signal message proxy, but I know about Session, which is started as fork of Signal and doesn’t require a phone number. You might be interested in that. Of course, you can always set up SimpleX on your own server, which is the most private and secure way to go.
