Solo Mining Dashboard Stats Not Available

I have a couple Bitaxe Gammas hashing away and as of last night I have them successfully (seemingly) pointing to my Start9 server’s IP and Datum Gateway port. Datum and Bitcoin Knots both appear to be running fine, with Datum configured for non-pooled mining. My usernames for the miners are Bitcoin addresses with worker name extensions.

The problem is that my stats are not showing up on Ocean’s Dashboard after roughly 8 hours. Any idea what’s going on? It would be nice to know if my miners are actually doing something outside my AxeOS Dashboard.

I don’t believe anything should be displayed on Oceans dashboard… your miners have had no public activity, they’ve mined no blocks and they’re not in the pool.

What you should be able to see is connections in Datum.

Thanks. I do see connections in Datum. Before switching to Ocean, I mined with CK Pool, and they showed stats. I suppose I expected Ocean would do the same… despite being a solo miner on CK Pool, it showed hash rate stats and shares on their dashboard.

If you’re using Datum for non-pooled you will not see stats on Oceans’s dashboard. You’ll have to use a 3rd party dashboard (ckstats github, etc) to get more information than the Datum page gives you. I’m in the same boat, would be cool if there was a community app for solo mining stats.

Thanks all. I’m not sure why I originally thought I might see something on Ocean’s dashboard as clearly I’m not in the pool. My miners are pointing to my own node IP via Datum gateway and not ckpool or public pool. The Datum page seems very inaccurate and AxeOS doesn’t have any way of tallying stats unless the page remains open. Once the miners are restarted, those stats are out the window.

Anyone know why my time (latency?) skyrockets from about 20ms to 69 million ms after a few hours? Pinging the bitaxe from a terminal still shows a 20ms time.

That latency isn’t possible I don’t think, probably a bug you should report to AxeOS.
