Start OS 0.4.0 timeline

Does anyone have any idea when we can expect a Start9 update to 0.4.0? I’m really looking forward to the improved networking features.

Hi! Welcome to the community. No timeline. But you can follow the 0.4.0 development on github. We’re still cleaning up a few known bugs, but last I heard Alpha10, was working really well, and very few changes are expected before going into public beta. We’re getting there. We’ll soon see how well it holds up to you guys pounding on it.

That’s awesome to read! I did check in on the Git and saw it was “88% complete, 19 open and 143 closed” issues. A few P1 issues are blocking release, including a long-standing one from September 2022.
