Since installing StartOS I’ve seen this screen a few times.

It looks like you have an issue much lower than StartOS. The first line insinuates an issue in firmware. First thing I would try is to update your BIOS and reset to factory defaults.
Obviously we cannot provide support for all possible hardware, so you’ll need to do some digging here to find out the issue with your particular hardware.
I was able to fix the issue by booting with Ubuntu server pen and formatting my SSD drive with it. Afterwards I installed StartOS and so far the error has not shown itself again.
