Static ip address modification

I’m sorry if this has been addressed already, I couldn’t find anything directly on the subject in the forum search tool.

Got an email notification in reference to an update but it was mostly about Wasabi.

Can someone point me to where altering the ip address is covered please. Have assigned a static ip address on the Dell server and reserved it via the mac address in my router with no joy.

Rebooted the router, the server, uninstalled and reinstalled again with no joy.

Guessing there’s something in the StartOS that is related to the DHCP but wanted to ask for insight before reverse engineering to find the culprit.

You’d set this in the router, which is likely to have a DHCP server and in that the ability to “reserve” or “assign” IPs to specific devices.

As for an email you got from Wasabi or Start9… it wasn’t. You are being scammed.
