Successfully Installed and ran on x86, now RPC Error

I successfully installed StartOS on an HP Elitedesk 800 G3 SFF a couple of days ago, and started Bitcoin Core on syncing. It was working fine, if slow even for a blockchain sync (~10% on the first day).

It logged me out overnight, and when I tried to log back in, I get RPC ERROR: Database Error pool timed out while waiting for an open connection.

I tried rebooting the PC, and was able to log in again. Bitcoin Core and Electrs services were started, but were apparently unable to connect to RPC.

I pressed the Restart button on Bitcoin Core, thinking this would just restart the service, but it restarted the OS, and now I have the original RPC Error again.

The PC has 8 GB of RAM, the system is installed on a 256 GB NVME drive, and I’m using a cheap 4 TB SSD for the data drive. Wondering if this last item might be the issue.
