I suppose you’d prefer replies here rather than to email? I’ve seen that you emailed the same question.

I’m not really sure what you’re doing…

Firstly…
Your mac and your server are two separate things. Nothing you do on the mac affects your server, your mac simply allows you to access your server.

Next…
You say everything is so wrong… on your mac or on your server?
Did you try it install homebrew Tor on your server or on your mac?

the homebrew is instal on the start9

my mac terimal dose not indicated homebrew

try experimental features
reset tor wipe alot of time still getting the same results

excuse me but did it is not where i like to reply did not receive any email from you guys that is why i try and make an account here and try to get my start9 back to working if it possible.

There is no guide that tells you to install homebrew or tor on your server. You should not be doing anything on your server via SSH at all unless directed by someone or you know what you’re are doing.

If a restart of the server doesn’t clear the issue, then you’re probably going to have to factory reset and start over from the beginning. This will make sure you haven’t done anything that will affect you longer term.

Either this for a complete starting over:

But probably this to preserve the data partition, which you probably didn’t damage:

not tempting to flash everything is fine working just the tor guess there will be a better solution then just flashing it

Restarting the server may be enough to remove you work you did on it. Most changes are not persisted.

is there any .s9pk package file for fixing the tor?

If you have a new Server Pure, I think the easiest thing would be just reinstall the operating system and start from scratch. Do you have BTC or anything of value on the server already? If not, it’s going to be easier for everybody to just reinstall the operating system like @StuPleb suggested above. It’s a pretty quick process

syncing the blockchain is pain in the ass men, flashing it back then re sync the whole blockchain again???

they could be better with some upgrades in the future

:man_shrugging: @StuPleb gave you a solution for that Try this and let me know how it goes

that isnt a solution men, re syncing all them knots block got things to do aint wasting time for just a tor maybe they will make something better then just flashing start9 pure.

Yeah, read the guide. You don’t have to. You can keep your data

I’m not sure if there’s a better way to explain your options…

  1. System → Restart and see if your server is still broken.
  2. If so, flash the server using the method I linked that keeps data.

The reason I’m suggesting reinstalling StartOS is because your actions so far have been wildly different from what was asked of you in the guides, where you are told to use homebrew on you mac, not your server.

This might not be your fault at all… perhaps there’s a language barrier or some other issue… but we can only support actions that users are told to take or are part of StartOS. Walking you through a custom step by step un-borking of your server is not practical.
