Torrents for iso files?

Can the Start9 team add torrents in the github repository for iso downloads? Not only will those downloads be faster, they will save on bandwidth. It will also help people who do not have super stable internet like me.

our suggestion to provide torrent downloads for StartOS ISOs is valuable, especially for users with unstable internet connections. Currently, StartOS ISOs are available for direct download from the GitHub releases page.

Implementing torrent downloads could offer benefits such as faster download speeds and reduced bandwidth costs. However, it would require additional resources to set up and maintain the torrent infrastructure, including seeding and ensuring the integrity of the files.

While this feature isn’t available at the moment, the Start9 team is committed to improving user experience and may consider such suggestions for future releases. In the meantime, if you encounter issues downloading the ISOs directly, consider using download managers that support pause and resume functionality, which can help manage unstable internet connections.

If you can create the torrent files (and if I can download all of the files on github), I will setup a torrent server on my network rack that would stay on 99% of the time to be seeds for every file. I already setup my torrent program on my server.

Excellent idea - does anyone need any help with this?

My friend downloaded all of the Start9 releases from github but I cannot figure out how to seed stuff with transmission. Transmission is installed as an app on my server.
