TRIM support / running TRIM for VMs to free up host space

Hi Team

Just wondering if there is a way to run TRIM for the StartOS. Dont want to access command line unless required. The VM is using a Raw data file and im passing through support in the VM XML file.

i just need help confirming what command i run or if its supported to free up and TRIM space for StartOS.

Any info on this is appreciated as my StartOS VM is using 1.22TB on the host but its using 643GB in the VM itself.

StartOS is Debian under the hood, so anything you can do with Debian is fair game for trying in StartOS. That said, adventures such as yours are not something we encourage or offer support for if they go wrong.

Thanks for replying. ill just keep the drive as is, as i have dedicated 2TB to the Blockchain sync
