Hi all,
I recently installed v0.4.0 and am trying to install LND, but am having problems. It’s my first time trying to set up a lightning channel to understand what it’s all about, but I am simply unable to set up a fresh wallet to the point where it will provide me with a seed phrase, which I can then move on from to set up Alby Hub. The system either thinks there is an existing wallet, which there isn’t as I have only ever set up Bitcoin Core, Electrs and Mempool on my node (is this anything to do with Electrs being connected to my Sparrow??), or I get other error messages.
Any help / guidance would be much appreciated.

Without knowing why you think the system thinks you already have a wallet (you don’t tell us what happens, what you see or what the error message is) or what the “other” error messages are, I’m afraid there’s very little we can do to help.
It should be as simple as clicking Install, then clicking Start. Then you’re done, and move on to RTL, Alby or whatever else you’re using.
I will reinstall LND and go through the process again to get the precise error messages and hopefully than will help you understand a bit further. Thank you.
@StuPleb as odd as this sounds (to me), I uninstalled LND and stuck a fan on my node. It reduced temps by 20 degrees and CPU usage by 80% immediately after. I then reinstalled LND and was then able to get my 24 word seed for LND.
LND must have gotten itself stuck somehow. Same you didn’t grab the logs, would have been good to work out what it was to help others if they encounter it.
