Unable to connect to electrum after update to Version 0.4.0.1.
Electrum version 0.11.1:19
Bitcoin Knots 29.3:17
Later version of Sparrow as well.
All was working for over a year until the update.
Current errors:
If enabling SSL; Could not connect SOCKS: Connection refused. Check if the proxy server is running
Without SSL: Could not connect: Retries exhausted
Before the update in the URL in sparrow under server I did not specifically state 50001. It would just connect. Now with or without will NOT connect.
I tried SSL, proxy 127.0.0.1 9150 no dice.
Also noticed the new OS has TOR 0.4.9.11:5 service running.
Any help would be appreciated.
wanted to give everyone an update JIC you ran into the same issue.
in sparrow do the following:
1- remove the electrum address
2- paste the same address back in the URL, set the port to 50001
3- close sparrow and restart
4- enable SSL, leave cert blank
5- close sparrow ad restart
6- do not enable proxy
7- Sparrow now connects.
in the end its a copy and paste of the same address into Sparrow with 50001 as port and enabling SSL
No T, No S etc..

Just a thought here. I had problem with another service. I had to import the StartOS cert into the machine I was running for it to work. My version of Sparrow was running on a machine that had the imported cert and connected to Electrum no problem. However, I changed over to using Falcrum because of the issues with previous versions of Electrum.
