Up and Running but Electrum keeps flaking out

Yes it eventually gets back up and running but why is this happening on a daily basis.

Hey mikek, thanks for posting the screenshots.

What you’re describing — Electrs going down and then coming back up on its own, roughly once a day — usually points to the hardware getting pushed pretty hard. Indexing the blockchain is heavy on both CPU and disk I/O, so on something like a Pi, an HDD instead of an SSD, or lower RAM, it can time out under load and then restart itself, which would line up with what you’re seeing.

A few things that’d help narrow it down:

What hardware are you on (Pi, Server One/Pure, DIY x86), and is the data drive an SSD or HDD?

Can you check Electrs’ logs (Services > Electrs > Logs) around the time it flakes out and see if there’s an out-of-memory message or a specific error right before it restarts?

Is Bitcoin Core fully synced, and is it pruned or a full node?

Once we can see what’s actually in the logs at the moment it drops, we can tell if it’s a hardware ceiling or something else going on.

I have a start9 server pure. Not running any other services. Attached is the log pic. Did not see any way to send you the entire download log on this. Chat.
