I recently bought a Server One and am planning to run a lighting node on it.
Since uptime is crucial for lighting, I am looking into UPS systems to prevent power losses (which are quite a thing at my place).
Problem is I don’t seem to find anything suitable on the Internet, they are all 12V or don’t provide enough power.
Server One needs 19V and 3.42A, totalling 65W power.
Do you guys have a UPS to suggest?
I wouldn’t go out on a limb and recommend specific makes and models… but it sounds like your looking for (slightly) the wrong thing… like those little router UPS’s that connect directly to routers and do away with their need to use a power supply brick entirely.
Instead, you’d want a proper UPS that let’s you plug all sorts and any sort of electronic device into it. Preferably one that has a row of standard power sockets for your country in them. This would be equivalent to plugging the Server One into the wall. The UPS would output a standard voltage.
thanks StuPleb, I get your point. Yes, I was actually looking for a small UPS, not a full fledged one. Reason is a proper UPS wouldn’t fit nearby my Server One because of size.
Guess I need to redesign my physical setup…
