V 3.51 works fine for me. I’m still learning a lot on privacy and sovereignty. Will v 4.0 be available to install on top of v 3.51. Will I be able to retrieve my files from earlier backup?
When v040 is out of Beta, it will appear as an OS upgrade for 0351 users. Until then, upgrades are manual in order to limit the flood of new users so we can deal with any problems we come across… which so far has been very very few.
When you do upgrade, data will be carried over, yes. Your old backups will no longer work. 040 and 0351 backups are NOT compatible, and you’d have to make new backups.
