When in stock Server Pure?

Hi,

I am new into bitcoin (1 year), also new to start9. I want to self host a bitcoin node. I am very much to my privacy and would like to buy a start9 server pure machine. When will this be available again?

we need some better options that are more capable of running AI.

Server Pures were discontinued in 2026, hence the lack of any message that they’re coming soon.

A high end local AI device is something that’s on a lot of people’s minds.

I was wondering the same. The one thing I liked the most about it is the fact it had IME disabled and was RISK-V computer. Last year I was about to purchase the server pure but hesitated too much. Now I see it was a big mistake. Any idea on where I can purchase one from a trusted site?

If we ever made a AI device? Maybe next year, maybe. First thing to look at is a Pure replacement though. I don’t think we’d expect an AI model to be a big seller – depending on what kind of response time you’re looking for from an LLM, a good AI-focused device would probably start at about $5k. Think high end gaming device.

The Pures weren’t RISC-V, but that’ll probably be the next thing we’re looking at.

I don’t know where you could get hold of a Pure-equivalent. Maybe there are some left in China you can find online. You’d have to find one with nothing newer than a Intel® Core™ i7-10710U and then load the firmware yourself.
