I am hoping that someone smart can add Wireguard - VPN to the StartOS Marketplace in the coming update.

I am going to try to learn how to package a service, but would feel better if someone with knowledge and experience packaged it.

There are many new Networking options that will be available with the release of StartOS Version 036. These new options will make many things easier for users to do.

Please do look out for announcements on this.

Any update on 0.3.6? There are many such posts from last August saying it was coming soon, but I don’t think anyone imagines 12 months is “soon.”

Thanks for sticking around and coming back to get some clarity on this.

StartOs has taken an even bigger step since the last time we posted here and the devs have taken the time to build out StartOS from the ground up, bringing with it more features that have been requested by many users as well as security upgrades and other goodies.

This has resulted in an entire redesign of the operating system and all associated packages for the Services as well, meaning that we have jumped past 036 and are now actively working on the release of 040 which brings with it the ability to make clearnet connections a lot easier for everyone who wants the functionality.

I am currently testing the alpha version of 040 and can promise that it truly is a work of art. We are just waiting to hear exactly when the public beta will start but it will definitely be announced via all Start9 Social Media channels once ready.
