Bitcoin Core time out

Hey everyone so im very new to all of this i buiilt my own embassy one server with a raspberry pi 4 , 1tb ssd internal, and 32gb of ram all mashed together with geek worm NASPI V2.0 kit. im noticing that bitcoin core continually fails to finish syncing its been about 5 days now and im not sure whats goin on. i’ve searched the forums and saw it may be the hardware im using. if it is he hardware what does anyone recommend i do to upgrade?

unfortunately the Raspberry Pi just can’t keep up with syncing Bitcoin anymore — especially since the blockchain has gotten heavier over the past years. The CPU, power, and I/O on the Pi create slowdowns or even complete sync failures. We strongly recommend upgrading to a mini PC with an i5 or i7 CPU, 8GB+ RAM (16-32 better), and 1 TB SSD minimal. If you want to run a full archived node the more disk space the better. Or you can purchase a preloaded server from Start9 https://store.start9.com/

You can migrate everything over using the Transfer process here: Start9 | Upgrade Your Raspberry Pi.

hey thank you for the reply rick. Well that sucks lol but okay im looking at some mini PCs now and just to confirm nothing with a m.2 ssd correct?

Main thing is go with NVME. I don’t think that necessarily excludes M.2 but maybe not all M.2 are NVME we have a list of known good hardware too
