Also I’m using an additional SSD that I had to manually mount at some point when I installed umbrel. I’m now trying to erase umbrel and anything else and just use startos.
I do not know a lot of the context, but if you are trying to install StartOS on a drive and having this error, you might consider using a linux ( or linux ubuntu live on a usb) and wipe the drive completely formatting it with ext4. Also in your BIOS you might need to disable secure boot. But I am assuming a lot here, I do not know from your post exactly what you are working with or what you are trying to accomplish
