StartOS not booting up - is my machine not supported?

I am trying run StartOS on Lenvovo Thinkcentre M92p, 8GB RAM 1TB SSD. I successfully got to the step “Remove USB flash drive and reboot machine”. After removing the USB flash drive and rebooting it does not appear to boot from the hard drive that StartOS was installed on and instead attempts to boot from the network. I checked the BIOS settings and verified that the boot priority is correct.
It looks like the machine does not recognize the StartOS so tries to boot from the network.
This is happening with both the free and non-free versions.

As of yet, no one has reported getting StartOS to work on that specific model. So please let us know, if you do.

You may just need to experiment with the boot options in the bios/UEFI menu. You might try installing again after changing the secure boot options, or switch between efi, and legacy boot.

I’ve run StartOS to on a couple of Lenovo ThinkCentre variants (M93p and M710Q), and I frequently direct folks who are on a tight budget to this family of refurbished systems. I would really like to re-create and hopefully resolve the problem that you are experiencing with the ThinkCentre M92P. It seems that Lenovo made a couple different varients called M92P, though, so to make sure I get the same one you have, do you happen to have a link to a photo or listing that is identical to the one you own?

There are two variants of this model. There is the “small” form factor:

And the “tiny” form factor:

Sorry if this is obvious from one of the numbers in your photo there, but can you confirm which of these two you have? It probably doesn’t make a difference, but I want to be sure.

It’s definitely the small as it has the CD/DVD drive.

Great, I have one on order. Will let you know what I find out in a few days once it arrives.

My Thinkcentre M92p (“small” form factor) arrived. I believe it is the same setup as yours (8GB RAM, 1TB internal SATA SSD) The installation (using the normal StartOS installer, not the non-free) completed, and StartOS successfully rebooted in my case, setup completed, and it appears to be working as expected.

There is probably something different between our BIOS settings or versions, I would guess. I actually didn’t make any changes to the BIOS, but this is an extremely used (i.e. beat up and falling apart) PC, so who knows what the previous owners might have changed from the defaults. The good news is that this model is compatible with StartOS, just need to figure out what is different between our two instances. I can set up a virtual meeting to do a live stare-and-compare. I don’t know how to DM on the forum here, though, so could you create an account on my forum at paulscode.com so I can DM you there?

Mods, if it is against the rules to link to other forums, let me know. I’ll be sure to post our findings here for anyone who needs the info in the future.

I gave up on this and installed Linux on this machine and now am running Bitcoin Knots and the Electrs server.
But if you want to find out what is wrong I can work with you on that. For starters, here is the BIOS info:
