- System Uptime at point of writing ~ 6 Days, 18 Hours
- Connected to Ethernet and Broadcom internal Wifi card - no networking issues observed so far (aware of issues reported for the 2012 version of MacMini but have not had issues so far)

Other users have reported success, but then later had issues on the A1347.

Reminder that this is a list for Known-Good Hardware and is intended for reports of success. It’s not a place to ask questions or to debug your own non-working hardware. For that, since its completely unrelated to anything here, start a new thread.
Success installing Start9 OS (v. 0.3.5.1) on old Dell Optiplex 9020 (Intel Core i5 4570, 16GB Ram, 2TB SSD). Runs great. Bitcoin Knots synced in about 22 hours.
Successfully installed StartOS on a HP_EliteDesk_800_G3_i5_Mini_65W,16G-Ram,2TB_SSD Built-in_intel_Wifi. Had no issues, very smooth install and configuration. Downloaded full block chain in just under 2 days.

successfully installed on non oled Steamdeck 512Gb internal nvme as direct replacement for steamos , touchscreen works, screen is rotated 90 degrees but displays okay , ony issue though is screen stays active all the time . I will get a lenovo Tiny and setup StartOS there and put the steamdeck back to normal but may experiment with still running StartOS on mocroSD on steamdeck afterwards

Heads up on the potential fail DIY list…
I tried installing latest version (0.3.5.1) on a MacBook Pro (A1706 - late 2016) and consistently hit this error:
RPC ERROR: Disk Management Error mkfs.vfat: unable to open /dev/nvme0n1p1: No such file or directory
Not sure if there is a potential workaround, but am moving on to other old hardware.
Removed the 2TB external drive and reinstalled as the old hardware could not handle the rewrites, so I’m going to do my best with the internal 1TB SSD internal drive.
This is specific to the disk and partition tables. I’d get a linux live boot running, pre-nuke and pre-format, then start over. There are other threads that talk about this.
